Deal with stress through training

On several occasions, we have suggested that during this time of uncertainty and transition, it’s a great time to take charge of those things we CAN take charge of – delivering the programs and serving the audiences we’ve been serving while retooling for new challenges and opportunities ahead. It was great to get that advice sent back to me this week by Russell Kidd, Michigan State University Extension educator from Roscommon County, who has taken part in several on-line trainings over the past few months and came to this conclusion: “The best way to deal with all the stress and unknowns of the future within MSUE is to prepare yourself BETTER for that future by participating in all this training that is available.” I couldn’t have said it better, and now I need to get myself signed up for Sharepoint training – I didn’t realize there’s so much we can do with Sharepoint and if I don’t get trained, I’ll probably look like a dullard in some future webinar. Thanks, Russell! If you’d like to see the full listing of training opportunities, just go to our professional development web site: http://web2.msue.msu.edu/inservice/coursetitle.cfm
