Michigan 4-H workers reunion set for May

Anyone formerly associated with Michigan 4-H Youth Development as an employee is invited to attend the Michigan 4-H workers tri-annual reunion May 18–20, 2011, at Kettunen Center. Invitees include county and state staff members who were affiliated with the 4-H Youth Development program during their careers. Former Extension agents, educators, assistants, associates, county directors with 4-H responsibilities, support staff members, on-campus specialists and program leaders, and their spouses and guests are welcome.

Highlights include updates on Michigan State University Extension, 4-H programs, the Michigan 4-H Foundation and Kettunen Center, which is celebrating its 50th year.

Rooms are reserved in the Red Oak and White Pine facilities. Built into the agenda is ample time for fellowship with colleagues and friends.

Help build the mailing list. E-mail names and addresses of people that you think may not be on the mailing list as former workers to Larry Johnson, county Extension director emeritus, at johns153@msu.edu, or call him at 616-396-1426. Look for letters and registration materials this March.
