If you haven’t heard, Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) Week will host its centennial celebration March 7‒14, 2015. This is a great opportunity for us to celebrate where we have been and where we are going. If you haven’t liked the ANR Week Facebook page, I highly recommend that you do. The page features not only the programs happening during ANR Week but also the history of ANR Week told through fun pictures by the decades. ANR Event Services has done a fine job with imagery and musical selections.
I also encourage everyone in Michigan State University Extension to take part in this centennial celebration by hosting an event, program, demonstration or informal discussion of current research or hot topics. Program requests are currently being accepted at http://anrweek.canr.msu.edu/sessions/call_for_programs.
Requests received by Aug. 1 will receive a featured article on the ANR Week website homepage currently under development. In addition, ANR Event Services has agreed to build registrations for Extension and College of Agriculture and Natural Resources‒hosted events.
What a great opportunity to showcase what Extension is doing! I encourage everyone to find a way to be involved during ANR Week.
