ANR Events Management System training to be offered

Are you interested in learning more about using the Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) Events Management System? ANR Event Services will lead several in-person trainings throughout the state in April and May.

Attendees will learn (or get a refresher on) how to build an event in the system, as well as learn how to develop an event budget, manage an event from start to finish and discover the value of templates. Trainings are currently scheduled in Battle Creek, Caro, Grand Rapids, Pontiac and on campus. Check online at http://events.anr.msu.edu/eventtrain15/ for dates and registration. Additional trainings will take place in Gaylord and across the Upper Peninsula. Dates and locations for these events will be added to the site as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, contact ANR Event Services at events@anr.msu.edu or call 517-353-3175.

Strut your stuff at ANR Week

Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) Week continues to be one of the largest events of its kind in the nation. The Farmers’ Institute laid the foundation for the week more than a century ago. Today, ANR Event Services proudly coordinates the week, bringing together university grant programs, campus agricultural programs, farm associations and educational opportunities for the public.

This year’s event takes place Feb. 28–March 8 across the Michigan State University campus.

Space is still available to plan your event or program. Contact ANR Event Services at events@anr.msu.edu or 517-353-3175 to discuss available options. Specifically, the Event Services team is looking for one-day or multi-day events or even shorter events that can be tied with other programs already scheduled. Don’t miss this great opportunity to showcase your world-leading research or to educate the public on a new and exciting topic.
